Purna Yoga was founded by Aadil Palkivala and his wife Savitri based on 40+ years of personal experience and studies. In Sanskrit “Purna” means complete and “yoga” means unity. Purna Yoga is alignment-based asana (poses), Heartfull Meditation, and healthy living practices which will encourage healing and balance of one’s life. Purna Yoga is much more than exercise and you deserve to experience it because you are much more than just your body!
The lineage of Purna Yoga is based on the teachings of Sri Aurobindo, The Mother, and B.K.S. Iyengar. Purna Yoga honors the traditional texts of Yoga which are the Vedas and Sutras of Patanjali. Purna Yoga practices the systems of Vastu, Ayurveda, and Chinese and Western nutrition, to support the health of the mind and body beyond just the physical practice of asana.
With its roots in the past and its reach into the future, Purna Yoga is here now to help create the world of our heart’s dreams.
Purna Yoga is the art of loving yourself by living from your heart.
